Login Information
The add / edit login screen allows you to add a new login or edit an existing one as well as set the login name, password, and security level.
Setting | Description |
Login | The login name for this login. Login names can contain only letters, numbers, and the underscore character and must be between 6 and 20 characters long. Login names must be unique for each location with the exception of the account administrator login which must be unique for the entire account. |
Password | If you want to set a new password for a login you can enter it here, it must be between 6 and 20 characters long and contain only letters and numbers. |
Confirm Password | If you're setting a new password for a login then you must confirm the password you've entered in the Password field here. |
Security Level | You can set the security level of the login here, the different security levels are described on the Managing Logins Help Page. Note that you cannot change the security level for the account administrator login. |
Location | You can set the location for the login here. This is the location that must be selected when you're logging into Online Time Clock MTS with the login. |
Fence | You can set a geographic fence to control where employees can punch in and out from using this drop down. Note that only time clock security logins will have this option. Fences applied to a login here ONLY take effect on the desktop version Online Time Clock MTS. If your employees are using the mobile interface then apply a fence on the Employee Information screen. |
