Online Time Clock MTS allows time clock security level logins to access the system via a secure single click login link. When used the secure single click login link will log your employees directly into the associated time clock security level account without the need to enter a password.
Above you can see a single click login link generated for an Online Time Clock MTS login. You can right click on this link and copy the shortcut. This shortcut could be distributed to your staff via email, via a desktop shortcut, sent to employees with a smartphone, installed as a default web browser shortcut, or perhaps even put as a link on your company intranet.
There are some precautions you should take before considering use of the secure single click login link feature of Online Time Clock MTS.
- You should strongly consider using the employee PIN feature to prevent unauthorized clock ins or outs.
- You should strongly consider restricting access to the login via computer IP address.
- You should, in no circumstances whatsoever, publish a single click secure login link on a public website or web page. To do so would allow anyone to access your staff time clock. If we ever become aware of a single click secure login link being published on a public website or page we'll immediately disable the link to prevent any potential unauthorized access to Online Time Clock MTS.
It is important to note that if you change the password or location of a Online Time Clock MTS login that previously generated secure single click login links for that login will no longer function. This can easily be used to your advantage in the event of a secure single click login link being distributed to unauthorized staff members. All you'd need to do is change the password of the login and all existing secure single click login links would be rendered inoperable.
